Krausse comes to Civil Justice Association of California from The Doctors' Company where he served as Director of Governmental Relations. In that position he headed up the company's efforts to defend medical malpractice litigation reforms in California.
Krausse joined The Doctor's Company in 1996 after eight years in various staff positions in the Senate and Assembly, including legal counsel and budget consultant. . He is a graduate of the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and holds a bachelor's degree in Government from California State University, Sacramento. He is a member of the California State Bar.
At Civil Justice Association of California, Krausse joins with Barbara M. Wheeler, Legislative Advocate, who came to Civil Justice Association of California in 1996 after civil litigation experience with Yamaha Motor Corporation and with an insurance defense law firm.
For six years she was in-house counsel at Yamaha Motors in Cypress, California, specializing in product liability litigation nationwide. She was earlier an associate with King & Williams in Century City.
She holds a law degree from Whittier College School of Law and received a bachelor's degree in Personnel Management from Georgia State University. She is a member of the California and District of Columbia bars.
